Friends of the ERC is an initiative to organise a petition in support of the European Research Council (ERC) from 19 leading international scientists and universities from 8 different countries.
We recognize the ERC as the most important instrument in developing break-through, disruptive innovations from frontier science.
Through an open letter to European leaders and a petition, we urge the EU to protect the funding of the European Research Council in the long-term budget.
